Our Heritage
Three generations in pursuit of the exceptional
What began as a single trading bench has grown, over three generations, into a quietly respected name among collectors and connoisseurs. The craft was never handed down as a business alone — it was passed as a discipline: an eye trained to read a stone's character, and a conscience that refuses to compromise on its origin.
Our gemmologists travel to the mines of Sri Lanka, Mozambique and Colombia and to the great cutting and trade centres of the world, selecting rough and finished stones in person. We buy only what we would be proud to set into an heirloom — never the merely large, always the genuinely rare.
That same rigour follows every gem home. Each significant stone is independently graded, its provenance documented, so that what we know about a piece travels with it for life. It is a slower way to work. It is the only way we know.
